With Hurricane Ian incoming towards Florida’s west coast, Florida Power & Light’s representative Charles Dipasquale shared with Graves Electrical Services a series of unexpected “off-normal” issues that most of us might not anticipate in the field. Anyone working in any storm conditions should familiarize themselves with the issues outlined below and be prepared for anything. As of this posting, Hurricane Ian is producing winds of 125 mph and moving northeast at about 12 mph and is anticipated to hit directly in the Tampa Bay area. Graves Electrical Services urges all personnel to look out for one another and any subcontractors or affiliated companies’ employees. With proper communicate we can be prepared for any potential issues prior to encountering them.
