For two years now the COVID pandemic has been a thorn in the side for the some, and a fatal and tragic nightmare for others. For many of us the most evident effect is uncertainty.  The disease effects people in a myriad of different ways, ranging from cold symptoms all the way to loss of taste, severe trouble breathing, or even hair loss.  It is important, in uncertain times, to arm ourselves with knowledge, and while we can’t solve the issue right away, we can at least stave off some of its negative effects through proper testing and careful social practices.  Thankfully, for those who are having trouble simply getting tested there is COVIDtests.gov – Free at-home COVID-19 tests . Follow the link for four free at-home COVID tests to assist with peace of mind.

Take an at-home test:

  • If you begin having COVID-19 symptoms like fever, sore throat, runny nose, or loss of taste or smell, or
  • At least 5 days after you come into close contact with someone with COVID-19, or
  • When you’re going to gather with a group of people, especially those who are at risk of severe disease or may not be up to date on their COVID-19 vaccines.
