In October and November of 2020 Graves Electrical Services completed upgrade work on the Monet Substation in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. This 138 kV – 13kV substation services the Palm Beach Gardens area and was outfitted with three new transformers, as well as an ampacity upgrade and sliding link switches. Graves is currently working on installing a fourth new transformer as of late summer 2021. This unique substation is one of FPL’s that boasts an inspection robot patrolling the substation grounds, which reduces the need for human technicians to visit the site as frequently to monitor for maintenance issues.
