Graves Electrical Services, Inc. is proud to have participated in NextEra Energy’s Construction Safety Week at the site of the Avenir Substation where more than 50 personnel and technicians were provided a deeper understanding and respect for the importance of safety on a jobsite.  With presentations from Graves’ Safety Director Al Caprio, Bobby Maher from FPL, a representative from Phillips & Jordan, and finally Graves Electrical’s Operations Director, Tony Pugh, the event was educational and morale-boosting.  With Graves’ help, NextEra Energy can continue to commit to what was their best safety performance in 15 years in 2020, an overall 82% improvement, and ensure that all of our joint-effort jobsites are a safe place to work for all employees involved.  To add to the fun, raffles were held daily in which lucky personnel got a chance to win a Rec-Teq grill or a pair of apple airpods!  Thanks, everyone, for a great week, and let’s keep applying those practices that help ensure a “Zero Today” at all of our work locations!
